GO Manchester, Go!

CSV GO Manchester has been around for the last 31/2 years and in this time has helped over 140 community projects across Greater Manchester donating 9,600 hours in total. They have 2,500 volunteers signed up to take part in the 50 exciting and fun events that make a huge difference in the community where it really matters. All activities last around 4 hours and they aim to finish the tasks in a day giving the volunteers the opportunity to see what they have achieved.

They have over 10 events planned before Christmas from mural painting at a Newton Heath youth group to hedge and bulb planting with the Irk Valley Project. On Saturday 14 December they are wrapping Christmas presents donated by CSV GO Manchester and The Copperdale Trust that will be delivered to children in care and the elderly. On Monday 23 December volunteers can join the early morning crew to sort through 35 tons of food that will be distributed to 51 agencies across the North West that feed 2,000 homeless this Christmas. See Events Listings for details of events.
