Grand Banner Drop

Visitors to April's Grand National were met with a highly visual protest against horse racing when Stockport Animal Defenders held a banner drop on the northbound M6 on the second bridge pass Knutsford services. They started early in the morning to "welcome" people going to the Grand National and did not come down until 4pm. They had a picnic (vegetable curry) and caught up with their reading. Car horns were sounding all the time, mostly in support.
