Red Black and Green

The Networking Newsletter recently moved its web domain host to a more ethical company. Our web site is now hosted by RedBlackandGreen which is a small operation who can provide web space to campaign groups and voluntary organizations for the very reason fee of a tenner a year. We've also found them much more reliable than our previous web host.

There are a couple of draw-backs but they're very minor: you still have to have a separate Internet Service Provider (ISP) to connect to the Internet (but it can be anybody and you can still upload your files to the web) and there is essentially only one real email address so you have to configure your email software a bit differently. Back on the positive side, London-based RedBlackandGreen is probably the most ethical, reasonably priced, service available (and the Networking Newsletter hopes to work with them to set up a similar service physically based in Manchester). Plus you get lots of stats automatically about your site, so we're proud to announce that the Networking Newsletter web site gets, on average, over 100 different visits (each to several different pages) and over 1000 hits each day!

If you're interested in moving your site to RedBlackandGreen contact Paul ([email protected])and mention you heard about them via the Networking Newsletter.
