HLS Finds its Loan Cancelled
As reported in the press on Saturday 10 June, the Royal Bank of Scotland will not be renewing the £22.5 million loan to Huntingdon Life Sciences which it inherited when it took over the National Westminster bank. This will leave HLS in a very insecure financial situation. A "Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty" spokesperson confirmed there would be no let up in the anti-HLS campaign until the firm closed down, addng "demonstrations in the city will be stepped up".
