Where Next for the Anti-War Movement

Blair cannot shake the crisis of Iraq off, but along with Bush, it's one of his own making. We need to keep building this incredible grass roots movement of ours to hold him to account, and remove him. That would have an impact of a global scale. The possibility is there and we need to take it.

On the last Saturday of September thousands marched in London against the on-going occupation. People from all over Manchester travelled down on over a dozen coaches to join in.

Part of the on-going anti-war movement will see more Manchester demos, with one in the planning already, and mobilising for George W Bush's state visit to the country on the 19-21 November. There will be three continuous days of protest. The Greater Manchester coalition to Stop the war will be organising transport to London, as well as organising Manchester based, "Bog off Bush- You're not welcome here" demos.

Watch this space, but please do something that helps pile the pressure on Blair. His lies have been exposed, the majority now wants him to go - it's up to us now to determine his departure.
