Volunteer groups, schools and individuals are encouraged to organise and take part in activities ranging from tree planting and guided walks to arts events for children. Support is on hand from the Mersey Basin Campaign's local coordinators and grants of up to £100 are available to help pay for materials or anything else needed for a successful event. Busy schedules and the number of events organised in past years means that the time to get involved is now.
