Vegan Organic Trust

The Vegan Organic Trust (VOT), formerly Vegan Organic Horticultural Agricultural Network (VOHAN), holds regular meetings in Manchester including fun gatherings with great nosh at The Globe, a vegan pub, in Glossop. Based in Manchester, VOT is an international organisation helping to arrange support and visits to farmers wishing to know more about the methods they promote.

VOT is in the process of registering the first ever Stockfree Organic Standards with the Soil Association which will be a clear definition of vegan organic cultivation. This will enable commercial growers to apply for certification as approved producers.

Also, VOT organises courses and visits to stockfree vegan organic farms where no animal manures, fish, blood or bone fertilisers are used in growing crops, unlike the case of standard organic produce.
